Custom Shelving
When Ms. Humme called me,
she said she had a lot of
sewing stuff and collectibles
that she had nowhere to put.
She described the area she
was trying to use, and gave
me some measurements.
I built these shelves at my
showroom area at the Open
Market on College Road, then
transported them to her
house. The front section was
built seperately from the
taller back section, and the
two were secured together
with the vertical support
pieces. The small shelf
supports give strength to the
long shelves, but allow for an
open look and feel along the
top shelves. It turned out that
the shelves fit, but there was
NO extra room beside them-
they rubbed both walls while
we were putting them in!
Whew- all's well that fits well, I
guess!
